Money is your resource, but everybody
source: the Ji'nan daily author Qian Qian
has heard such a thing: Several Chinese people went to a foreign restaurant to eat, and were called by a foreign woman when they started to leave. The woman said, you can't be so wasteful. The Chinese answer, you don't care, this is my money. The woman added, "money is yours, but resources are yours." "The money is yours, but the resources are all." Does this sentence touch you? In real life, not many people will remind you like that woman, and no one will tell you any great truths. For some restaurants, the more customers order, the better the leftovers will be. Obviously, in some Chinese minds, the concern is "ego" instead of "everyone".
in life, everyone is a diner. Is your every move civilized when you eat out and party? Is there any noise in the restaurant? While advocating frugal saving, every diner should also make efforts to change the uncivilized eating behavior. As we all know, since the ten Eighth National Congress, the wind of "strict economy and waste" has sprung up from the top to the bottom, exposing the waste habits of many countries, especially for the waste of food and beverage. This is not only a waste of food, but also a waste of limited resources. When you see a lot of leftovers, please think about those pupils who are not able to eat in the poor mountainous areas of Yunnan.
the Chinese are good face. In many cases, "decent" surpasses reason and produces a Chinese "leftover banquet". It is the greatest face that we do not know how to save food. Of course, changing the waste of "face culture" is not a long day's work. It's not a few people's strength. It has a long and tortuous journey, but it might as well start today.
