Ji'nan city Changqing artificial lake water pollution fish dealers take the opportunity to salvage dead fish
mass network Ji'nan March 20th news (reporter Zhang Jian) today, the enthusiastic public Mr. Li to the public network to call a hot line, recently due to industrial and domestic sewage discharge, leading to the artificial lake near the Changqing bridge in Changqing District, Ji'nan Mass pollution, the fish in the lake died in large area, and some fish dealers took the opportunity to salvage dead fish.
Mr. Li said on the phone that, at present, there are too many dead fish in the artificial lake, the center of the lake is already white, and there is a stench, and a layer of green foam is floating on the water. There are several pipes near the west side of the lake, flowing out of a foul sewage and flowing into the artificial lake along the lakeshore. In recent ten days, fish dealers have been fishing here every day.
as for the cause of dead fish, Zhao engineer of Changqing Environmental Protection Bureau told the public network reporter that before, the water pollution in the artificial lake has been very serious. In 2007, after the completion of the Changqing sewage treatment plant, a large quantity of sewage was withheld and the water quality in the lake was greatly improved. However, at present, due to the incomplete pipeline network construction in Changqing District, some sewage from University Science Park and urban industrial park is discharged into the lake. Coupled with the rising temperature in winter and spring, the microorganisms in the lake are very active, resulting in huge oxygen consumption. Sampling tests showed that the oxygen content in the water was 2.5 mg / liter, below the standard of 4 mg / liter. Therefore, the phenomenon of large death of fish has occurred in the lake.
it is understood that at present, the water service station of the Changqing District Water Bureau has salvaged and buried all the dead fish, and has carried out a survey in the local aquatic market to prevent the inflow of dead fish into the market.
