reporter: are you doing this on your own?
Zeng Huan: No, it's a group formed by our enthusiasts spontaneously. There are teachers, military personnel, housewives, students, drivers and so on. The age span is very large, after 60, 70, 80 and 90. A total of 23 people spent three years in hand welding.
reporter: how do you think of making Transformers from waste parts?
Zeng Huan: this exhibition is aimed at promoting the concept of recycling and low-carbon environmental protection, and mainly for students and children. Transformers is a hero in everyone's mind, and I want these children to think that these abandoned parts can also become heroes, so that they should pay attention to the waste, not just think of it as garbage, and cultivate the consciousness of recycling from childhood.
reporter: where do these waste parts come from?
Zeng Huan: it is our fans who have traveled all over Guangxi, Guangdong, to collect and repair the large and small auto parts and repair factories. These Transformers materials are 20 tons of materials that we have scour out of 36 tons of waste materials, many of which are rusty. Get our hands through grinding, welding, painting and other processes to become what we see today.
reporter: what is your line, have you ever touched robot manufacturing before?
Zeng Huan: I used to make moulds, but I still have a certain foundation for this aspect. Once I went out for a walk, and I found that the robot that others had made was not so good. After they adopted, they felt that they were much better and invited me to join their team. I also quit the former teacher's job
reporter: how high is the cost of making these robots? Where does your money come from?

reporter: do you support your family if you spend so much money on it?
Zeng Huan: at the beginning, I didn't support it very much. My daughter-in-law said that we are a group of people who do not work properly. But recently we have been touring around the country. CCTV has interviewed us, and has begun to do a bit of a look.
reporter: have you had any difficulties during this period? Want to give up?
Zeng Huan: Yes, of course. First of all, our work is done by welding. Because we are all amateurs, welding first is a big problem. At the beginning, there was no way to weld to tears. There are also difficulties in funding, but the love for robots has been supporting our team. We have a part-time job without money. Once there is a little money, someone will say, let's get another one.
reporter: what is the most proud work?
once: white spider. Because it is a plane after deformation, in order to reflect this feature, we made two aircraft turbines on the back. To do this, I sat on the plane for the first time to see what the turbine looked like. And its welding is very troublesome, because to reflect the fragmented stereoscopic sense, it needs a lot of combination and welding, if only a whole piece of steel plate welding, there is no effect. In addition, I am proud of the welding of helmet parts.
reporter: are there any new discoveries in Shenyang exhibition these days?
Zeng Huan: I find that the old people in the north are also interested in robots. Some elderly people are also interested in looking at these robots that can move and smoke.
