Shandong University's first employment report graduates still find jobs in the East

The report shows that the employment rate of graduate students is slightly higher than that of undergraduates, of whom more than 7 of the graduates are working in enterprises, and are concentrated in the central and eastern regions.
the total number of 2013 graduates of Shandong University was 10947 (not including undergraduates in Weihai campus), including 6552 graduates and 4398 graduate students. The employment rate of graduate students is still higher than that of undergraduates. As of September 1, 2013, the employment rate of graduates was 91.62%, and the rate of graduate employment was 92.38%. The total employment flow of graduates can be divided into two jobs, namely, the promotion of study, the implementation of units, the further study abroad, the flexible employment and the source of returning students (including personnel agents). Among the graduates, 3039 were implemented, accounting for 46.38% higher school 2267, accounting for 522 in 34.60% abroad, accounting for 175 of 7.97% flexible employment, accounting for 2.67% jobs (including personnel agents) for two jobs 549 people, accounting for 8.38%.
as of December 31, 2013, the employment rate of graduates was 93.83%, and the employment rate of graduate students was 95.56%. Graduates who are not yet employed are mainly preparing for the 2014 postgraduate examination, civil service and institution recruitment, and going abroad. In the nature distribution of the graduates' employment units, among the 3039 undergraduate graduates of the employment units in 2013, 79.09% of the enterprises, 8.29% of the institutions, 7.16% in the institutions, 2.99% in the army and 2.47% in the medical and health units. Compared to previous years, the proportion of employment in the institutions of education, scientific research and other institutions has increased, and the proportion of employment to institutions, troops and medical and health units is relatively stable, and the proportion of employment to enterprises has declined. Data show that in 2011, the number of university graduates in the mountain area accounted for 78% of the total number of enterprises employed, and increased to 81.29% in 2012, and then decreased in 2013. The report also said that the structural contradictions in employment of mountain students in 2013 still exist. First, the matching degree of subject structure and social demand is not high, the employment situation of different disciplines and specialties is very different. The social demand of engineering and applied subjects is relatively strong, and the employment rate is relatively high. Among the graduates who have obtained employment, the highest rate of signing contract is engineering specialty, followed by medical and liberal arts majors. In the geographical distribution of graduates' employment units, 80 and 45% of the undergraduates are employed in the East, 7.90% in the middle and 11.35% in the west, while the proportion of graduate employment in the eastern region is higher, 91.21% in the middle, 4.65% in the middle, and 3.90% in the West.
