Ji'nan hosted the twenty-second International Conference on the history of science, first held in Asia
January 21st morning, the twenty-second International Conference on historical science press conference was held at the Shandong University. In from August 23rd to 29th, the international historical science conference, known as "history Olympics", will be held in Ji'nan, Shandong. This is the first time the conference was held in Asia and second times in Africa and Europe since its founding in 1900.
Secretary General of the Organizing Committee of the Shandong University Organizing Committee of the twenty-second International Conference on historical sciences, Fang Hui, conservatively estimated that the conference will attract 2000 Chinese and foreign scholars to participate, and it is expected to break through 2500 people. Considering the large scale of the meeting and the heavy duty of accommodation, catering and other reception tasks, the organizing committee has determined the units in charge of specific meeting work through public bidding. As at 8 o'clock on 21, the number of registrations in the official website of the conference was 328, from 38 countries and regions in Asia, Europe, the Americas and Oceania.
the twenty-second International Conference on historical sciences has 82 seminars, which set up 4 theme forums, 27 thematic discussions, 18 joint discussions and 19 round tables, as well as special meetings, evening discussions, parallel meetings, young scholars wall newspapers, awards parties and many colorful activities. Among the numerous topics of discussion, there are 10 topics recommended by the Chinese historiography Association and passed by the international history society. The breadth and depth of Chinese scholars' organizations and participation issues are all over the past sessions.
