the palace lantern has a history of thousands of years in China, has become a symbol of Chinese traditional culture. Since 1971, he studied the art of mahogany carving design, and the 64 year old Zhang Minquan made the mahogany lantern for 47 years.

Today, Zhang Minquan has been selected as the fifth generation inheritor of Ji'nan's intangible cultural heritage handmade mahogany carving. In the future, he hopes that more people will learn to make palace lanterns and carry forward traditional culture better.
