Re: finished his father's wish. The 48 day ride to Ji'nan in Lhasa was not all poetic, but he said he wanted to pass on the family tradition that he did not concede to his children.
in March 3rd, Dong Xun set off to Pingyin and encountered strong wind and rainy weather. "It has exposed the shortage of long distance riding experience, not ready to ride a raincoat in a split style, and can't find a place to cover the wind and rain on the road, even though he wears full charge and pants, it is still wet."
the following road, a variety of difficulties constantly put on Dong Xun, after the rain riding a cold fever, "blind" following the navigation route to walk up the uneven path, half Road tire blowout, the collapse, approaching. Lhasa also broke two ribs in a car accident. All the way down, the original 160 Jin of Dong Xun dropped to 130 Jin. After more experience, Dong Xun has become more calm, "this is the hard work, encountered a lot of difficulties, but the final goal has been reached, so that people feel very substantial." Dong Xun was very touched by the many warm feelings he met along the way.

in May 4th, and Dong Xun returned to Ji'nan by train. Many close friends and relatives are waiting to hear him talk about the strange things about this long ride. "Many of my friends were encouraged to hear my original intention and process of going on a journey. A friend immediately drove to Tibet by car. I feel so good that when I am young, I want to go where I want to go.
as the father of two children, Dong Xun sends postcards to his children every passing place on his way. "They are still too small, a 6 year old, a 3 year old, and may not understand the meaning of it. When they understand, they see his father overcoming so many difficulties to complete a wish for Grandpa, I believe they will be encouraged."
from sitting on his father's bicycle to Taishan and riding to Lhasa, Dong Xun summed up a kind of "riding family tradition". "Let's call it this. In the course of riding, we need to overcome all kinds of difficulties. We need a strong and undefeated will. These are what I want to teach to the children. I hope they don't give up when they have a setback."
