Ji'nan launched the nation's first alliance of anti family violence laws.
in July 8th, Wang Xinliang, a lawyer in Shandong Da Zheng Tai and the law firm, launched the first "alliance of anti domestic violence law" in China. The alliance includes 5 law firms in Shandong, a number of university professors and industry experts. The alliance will submit a "speech on anti domestic violence law" to the National People's Congress in the near future. "The idea of drafting the anti domestic violence law stems from the shock that the litigants brought to me in the case." Wang Xinliang said that in 2010, a woman who had just been married for six months commissioned him to divorce her husband. The woman was released more than 10 times in six months by her husband naked. On one occasion, she was forced to run back to her mother's home, and her husband was killed with her axe. The woman told the police that the police could only criticize their husbands for their education. When the prosecution was divorced, there were only a few out-patient records and alarm records, and the court finally did not divorce.
Yu Xiaoli, a professor at University of Jinan law school, said 30% of the country's families were violent. The elimination of domestic violence, in addition to legislation, is also faced with a change of concept. Many women "silence their patience with violence, break away from violence by breaking up, eliminate violence with violence, and end violence with their lives." According to Wang Xinliang's lawyer, the establishment of a "alliance against domestic violence law" has two purposes, one is to promote the legislation against domestic violence, and the two is to safeguard the rights of the victims of domestic violence.
