Chrysler recalled 250 thousand defective cars due to potential engine flameout problems
Beijing time in March 3rd, Chrysler announced on Thursday that it would recall about 250 thousand cars to repair potential engine flameout problems.
the company said the recall involves 2010 year dowge Grand Caravan and Chrysler Town.Amp; Country minivan, and 2010 dowy Journey transboundary cars, because the ignition keys of these vehicles may be shifted during the driving process and cause the engine to extinguish.
Chrysler said that if the engine is flameout during driving, it may increase the risk of collision. These vehicles were manufactured between August 2009 and June 2010.
the company said it had received 32 customer complaints related to the problem and confirmed two rear end accidents.
the recall is expected to commenced in April.
