Before 2021, the R1 line, R2 phase I project and the R3 line first phase project were built. The total scale of the construction plan is 84.362 kilometers. planning adjustment, the R1 line added Ziwei Road Station (ground station) from the University City station to the Zhao Ying station section, and added Yufu River Station (the ground station) at Zhao Ying station to Wangfu Zhuang station, and the whole line site increased to 11. The line type and rail connection scheme of the first phase of the R3 line was optimized. The line terminal station was extended from the Ji'nan new east station to the TanTou Railway Station, the line length increased from 19.9 km to 21.592 km, and the whole line site increased to 13. In addition, individual stations and some lines have been adjusted. After the research and overall design of the R2 line project, there are many problems in the original plan line project, so the line position selection and laying mode of the R2 line will be adjusted in an all-round way.
