" There are tens of thousands of buildings in the city. This magnificent blueprint and ideal of the ancients in modern times are gradually becoming reality. As of May 2012, the city of Ji'nan has started the transformation of 38 centralized shanty towns and 35 fragmentary areas, with a total of 20 concentrated shanty towns of about 24 thousand residents living in new homes. A large number of shanty towns have changed their old looks. In the past ten years, more and more provincial citizens moved away from the shabby, shady and wet shanty towns, and entered the new buildings with clear windows.
