Ji'nan min Zi Qian Road Baihua Park, the earliest Ji'nan Academy of books in the Yuan Dynasty, in the Yuan Dynasty, there is a temple of Min Ziqian's tomb. Min Ziqian is a disciple of Confucius. He also called "Virtue" and "Yan Hui" in Confucius. According to the eight years of northern Song Xining (1075), Li Su, Qi State (Ji'nan), built the Min Zi ancestral temple in front of the tomb of Min Ziqian, and then Su Chai, the Secretary of the Qi State, wrote the note of the Min Zi ancestral temple in Qi State, his brother Su Shi's Handbook, standing in front of the tomb.

In this era, Minzi academy came into being near the Min Zi temple. According to Ming Dynasty's "Wons Venzon's discipline" records, yuan to shun two years (1331) autumn July, "Yiwu (Japan), Li Min Zi Shu Yuan in Ji'nan." This is one of the main achievements of the Yuan Dynasty, and it can be seen that the establishment of Min Zi academy is not only an official act, but also directly interfered by the emperor, so the specifications are very high.

After the establishment, a mountain and one person shall be set up to perform the duties of Confucians before offering sacrifices. In the late Ming Dynasty, because the academies in Fucheng were located, the Minzi academy outside the city was restructured to "talk about filial piety".
