Fang Yu village, the village of Xiaoli Town, Changqing District, is located in the most western end of the the Great Wall, and has a history of about 500 years. The village has still retained a large number of stone houses built 100 years ago, as well as ancient temples, ancient wells, ancient locust, stone rolling and lustrous bluestone road... In addition to the cock and dog barking, there was almost no other noise in the village. It was quiet as if people had returned to a hundred years ago.
