Reminiscence of Ji'nan's image in the past century: a new look at the old platform of old city gate
Hui Po gate (also known as the Hui Po gate, the North Water Gate) is located in the northeast corner of the Daming Lake scenic area, which is the north gate of the old Ji'nan. Because of the many springs in the city since then, so this name. The north gate is an arched city gate, with a waterway in the middle and a sidewalk on both sides, and a headstock sluice on the north side of the portal. In the early years of the Yuan Dynasty, the building of Hui Hui Lou (also known as Hui Bo Lou) was seven storeys and two storeys. Before liberation, the Hui Po tower was destroyed by war and collapsed. In 1982, the Ji'nan municipal government rebuilt the Hui Bo building. The new building basically remains the original appearance, and it is a "seven storeys" building with "Hangshan hill and double eaves". The picture shows the north water gate now.
