As an important node project of the water network in Shandong Province and Jinan City, Taiping Reservoir is located in the northernmost part of the starting area of new and old kinetic energy conversion in Jinan City, close to the Tuxiao River and Xingjiadu Yellow Trunk Canal, and the water diversion conditions are very superior.
作为山东省、济南市水网重要节点工程，太平水库选址于济南市新旧动能转换起步区最北端，紧邻徒骇河、邢家渡引黄干渠，引水条件十分优越。
It is reported that the total planned storage capacity of Taiping Reservoir is 120 million cubic meters, and the maximum designed water supply scale is 800,000 cubic meters per day. It is planned to be completed in 2026 and have water supply conditions in 2027.
据悉，太平水库规划总库容1.2亿立方米，设计最大供水规模80万立方米每天。计划2026年建成，2027年具备供水条件。
After the completion of the project, it will mainly supply water to the starting area of Jinan's new and old kinetic energy conversion, and at the same time take into account the production and domestic water supply of Jiyang District, Shanghe County and the five districts of Jinan City, which will effectively improve the water resource storage capacity of the area north of the Yellow River in Jinan City, further optimize the water resource allocation pattern of Jinan City, and support high-quality economic and social development.
工程完工后，主要为济南新旧动能转换起步区供水，同时兼顾济阳区、商河县及济南市内五区生产生活用水，将有效提升济南市黄河以北地区水资源调蓄能力，进一步优化济南市水资源配置格局，支撑经济社会高质量发展。
